Up-Cycle Garden Goodies

Spring is here.....or will be soon! Our Up-cycle workshop for April will be centering around making things related to gardening. You will have the opportunity to learn how to make a variety of different garden markers using items you probably already have laying around. I will also show you how to make a garden apron from an old pair of jeans as well as newspaper pots to start seedlings in that you can plant directly into the ground when you are ready!

If you would like to make garden markers please bring any of the following that you would like to use for the marker body:
Small jars
Broken potter pieces (large enough to write on)
Metal Spoons and forks
Wine Corks
Tin Cans
Rocks (big and flat enough to paint and write on)

For making a gardening apron please bring a pair of old jeans (that you can still button around your waist) or any other pair of pants you would like to try to up-cycle, I think a pair of cords would be perfect.

Finally if you have an abundance of newspaper feel free to bring it for the seedling pots.

This class requires pre-registration and $5 payment. You can call the store at 929-5835 to pay over the phone or stop by to sign up.

I'm looking forward to crafting with you all!
